Miss Isaacs

Growing up in Syracuse, NE, I know exactly what life is like in a small town. My faith & family are the most important part of who I am. Both of my parents are teachers in Syracuse, so I grew up up in the classroom. I always knew that being a teacher is what I wanted to do.

I have two loving parents, Tim and Barb. My dad is a High School Guidance Counselor, and my mom teaches Kindergarten. I'm right smack dab in the middle, teaching 6th grade! 

Along with my parents, I have two sisters, Beth & Emily. Beth is 25 and lives in Lincoln with her husband, Cameron. Beth works for a company called Nelnet & Cameron is a welder for the railroad. They have an adorable baby boy, Clayton, who is almost 2 years old. I can not believe how fast he is growing! Being an Aunt is such a blessing & is one of the most exciting parts of my life! I also have a younger sister, Emily, who is 19 years old. She is a Junior at UNL in Lincoln. She is studying to become a High School Spanish Teacher! Over the summer she spent 2 months in Costa Rica taking classes and studying the spanish language and culture.

I graduated High School in 2010 and headed to Lincoln to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University to become a teacher! I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Being a Prairie Wolf was the BEST 4 years of my life!! I made some great friends that I will never forget & made memories that will last a lifetime. 

For my first year out of college, I lived and worked in Syracuse at the Middle School as a Substitute Teacher & as the After School Club Coordinator and Study Buddies Coordinator. Last year was my first year as a teacher, and I'm happy to be back at JCC for another great year!!
