Spelling Test
Due Date: Every Friday
Spelling pre-test every Monday, and post-test every Friday. List can be found on 'Assignment Descriptions' tab.

Unit Homework
Due Date: Daily
Homework sheets will be sent home almost daily. They will typically be front & back, grammar & spelling. They are to bring back completed worksheets daily.

Weekly Writing
Everyday, students will complete a 'bellringer' assignment. When the students walk into the classroom, there will be a passage written on the board. Students will be expected to write the passage in their 'Penmanship Journal' daily. The passages are to be written in the students' best handwriting.
At the end of theclass period on Mondays & Fridays, students will complete an exit card. Exit cards will be something different each time to review what was we learned in class that day. If a student is absent, they will be excused from the exit card.

Every week, students will be completing a different type of writing. They will be mostly completed in class & in the computer lab.
